The Corp of Cadets presents Jazz on the Lawn featuring The Southern Colonels on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 on the lawn behind Lane Hall at Virginia Tech. The Southern Colonels, the Corps of Cadets' 20-piece jazz band, will perform. The Southern Colonels are one of three ensemble groups of the Highty-Tighties, the regimental band. The group will plan music from the big band era, Latin, rock, and other jazz standards. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. Admission is free and all are welcome.
