Making a Scene: An Evening of One Acts:

Date: April 28, 2017
Time: 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Venue: Hawes Studio Theatre (Porterfield Hall)
Organizations: Radford University College of Visual & Performing Arts
Description: The Radford University Theatre Department presents Making a Scene: An Evening of One Acts with performances starting on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 through Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the Hawes Studio Theatre located in Porterfield Hall.

This one act play festival is an eclectic bag of zany and thought-provoking works with something for every taste. Quirky, deep, dark, these intriguing words could describe the one-act plays that will be presented during the last week of classes in Radford University’s Theatre Department.

The Advanced Directing Class features each aspiring director’s final project presentation with a total number of seven plays this year. Each director is responsible for directing his/her play, but the class functions like a small production company to get the evening on the boards.

Tickets are free to all, but seating is limited and should be reserved online or picked up at the Porterfield Box Office in person or by calling 540-831-5289 during the week of the show. The Box Office is open from noon to 6 pm and one hour before the start of each performance.

The plays contains adult themes and are intended for mature audiences.
