Description: The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the play ‘Mr. Marmalade’ by Noah Haidle with multiple performances starting on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 through Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Squires Studio Theatre.

Lucy is a four-year-old girl with a very active imagination. Unfortunately, her imaginary friend Mr. Marmalade doesn't have much time for her. Not to mention he beats up his personal assistant, has a cocaine addiction, and a penchant for pornography. Larry, her only real friend, is the youngest suicide attempt in the history of New Jersey. Noah Haidle's "Mr. Marmalade" is a dark comedy about what it takes to grow up in these difficult times. It warns us that we must be careful how we raise our children. Directed by Gregory Justice.

Admission is $12.00 for the general public and $10.00 for seniors and students.
