Christiansburg Library presents an Author Talk with Beth Macy on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. The Christiansburg Library is pleased to announce an author talk with Beth Macy on her newest book "Truevine: Two Brothers, a Kidnapping, and a Mother's Quest". Truevine is the true story of two African-American brothers who were kidnapped and displayed as circus freaks, and whose mother endured a 28-year struggle to get them back. Beth Macy is the New York Times bestselling author of "Factory Man". She was also an award winning journalist at the Roanoke Times for two decades and a Niemann Fellow at Harvard University.
