Description: The City of Radford presents the 7th Annual Native American Heritage Festival on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Bisset Park.

Schedule:
• 11:00 am - Gates Open
• 12:00 pm - Grand Entry

Enjoy Native American music, dancing featuring the Aztec Dancers, crafts, storytellers and food-along the banks of the beautiful New River in Radford, VA!

The Grand Entry starting at noon will be a procession of many tribal affiliations, head dancers, elders and children. Master of Ceremonies Lowery Begay will direct the activities in the arena and will explain the symbolism, protocol and spiritual meanings of the dances, regalia and drums to the spectators.

The Host Drum is Warrior Path. All drums welcome! There is also a $250 Luck of the Draw for dancers in full Regalia.

The event is rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the festival.
