The Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley present the 11th Annual Scrabble Tournament at Virginia Tech's German Club Manor on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Did you know that 15% of the adults in the New River Valley area cannot read a bedtime story to their child? Your participation in our fundraising event will help provide Reading Instructional Materials, ESL Instructional Materials, and training/materials for our volunteer tutors! Tickets covers entry fee to play Scrabble®, food, and beverages. A Cash Bar will also be available for those with proper ID and 21 & older.
