The New River Valley Home Builders Association (NRVHBA) presents their Home Expo 2017 starting on Friday, March 10, 2017 and continuing through Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. Home Expo Schedule: • Friday, March 10th: 4:00-8:00 pm • Saturday, March 11th: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm • Sunday, March 12th: 12:00-5:00 pm Join us for the 2017 Home Expo. The NRVHBA has put all your home care needs into one convenient location. Whether you are looking to build a brand-new home or remodel your current one, this is the place to be. We will have a floor full of local, trusted professionals who are available to answer your home care questions, provide you reliable resources and quick quotes, as well as show you sample of their skills and services. Activities & Events: • Kids Zone - where the future builders can put their hands on real tools and create projects to take with them. • Cooking Contest – Watch 3 local non-profit organizations battle it out Iron Chef style for prizes. • Silent Auction – Bid on vacations, tools, appliances, massages, dinners on the town, date night packages. Proceeds go to support the Richard Whitney Scholarship program, other charitable projects in our community, and the NRVHBA events such as Touch A Truck. • How-to Clinics – Join one or several of the How-to Clinics that will be running throughout the Home Expo. In the past, we have showcased topics like how to choose paint colors to edible gardening to home security. Admission is $5.00 for adults and free for children ages 18 and under with paying adult.
