Blacksburg Parks and Recreation offers Thursday Nights Skiing / Boarding In West Virginia every Thursday from 4 pm to 12 am starting on January 12, 2017 through March 2, 2017 with trips meeting at the Blacksburg Community Center. Blacksburg Parks & Recreation has worked with Winterplace Ski Resort to offer a night of skiing every Thursday from January 12, 2017 through March 2, 2017. The trip include transportation, lift ticket, ski rental, and 90 minute lesson. Please register by the Monday before the trip by 5 pm. There is an additional $20.00 cash charge to upgrade to a snowboard rental instead of skis. Both Blacksburg residents and non-residents are welcome. Must be 11 years or older.
