The Floyd Contra Dance presents their 2016 December Dance on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at The Floyd Center for the Arts (formerly the Jacksonville Center for the Arts). Enjoy a whole lot of music from The McKenzies at the Floyd Contra Dance. Music is a family affair for this Lynchburg couple, and they'll bring a variety of styles and instrumentation, strong individual and duet vocals, and a repertoire of lively tunes, unique originals, and familiar ballads to the stage. The caller is Valerie Helbert. Wear soft flexible shoes for dancing and the caller will teach each dance. Singles and beginners welcome. Come early for the free lesson at 7:35 pm. See you there!
