Description: Blacksburg Ballet presents The Nutcracker at Burruss Hall Auditorium on Virginia Tech's Campus on Saturday, December 10, 2016 with showtimes at 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

“The Nutcracker” ballet is a beloved holiday tradition for the entire family, capturing your imagination and transporting you to a magical world of toy soldiers and dancing snowflakes. The audience follows Clara on her journey as she meets colorful characters in the Land of the Sweets, from the captivating Sugar Plum Fairy to Mother Ginger's mischevious Bon Bon Children and a Hokie Bird pirouettes amid the party scene.

Guest artists include NYC dancer Alessio Olivieri as the prince and Heather Toth as Clara.

This iconic classical ballet enthralls audiences of all ages.

Running Time is approximately two hours.
