The Radford University College of Visual & Performing Arts presents a guest artist concert featuring the U.S. Fleeet Forces Concert Band on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Performance Hall located within the Covington Center. U.S. Fleet Forces Band, known as "The Finest of the Fleet," is the musical representative for Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, VA. The band provides musical support for ships, military bases, foreign dignitaries, and community events throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Ohio River Valley areas of the United States, and also regularly deploys to Central and South America. Under the direction of Lieutenant Robert J. Coats, the band is staffed by some of the U.S. Navy's finest and most talented musicians. Admission is free.
