Description: The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents a Photography Workshop: Seeing, Composing, and Creating the Image on Friday, August 26, 2016.

This is a comprehensive series of talks and workshops designed to improve your photography.

Three excellent photographers will be sharing their expertise about shooting their favorite subjects: gardens and plants. There are talks on composition theory and practice, shooting techniques, how to edit images, and much more. But it’s not just ‘talk’ about photography -- this is an active participation workshop. We spend most of the day on Saturday shooting in the Hahn Garden, and on Sunday, we spend the entire time in our computer lab learning how to edit your images using Adobe Photoshop.

Why sign up for these workshops?
•If you want to improve the quality of your images.
•If you’ve been shooting for a while but would like unbiased opinions about your work, this is the workshop for you.
•If you want to break away from the usual, tired images that you find in your camera, this is your workshop.
•If you want/need to develop skills in editing images.
