The International Sailor Moon Day Celebration at Blacksburg on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech. Let's celebrate this classic magical girl show together, all while enjoying beautiful gardens at the Hahn Horticulture Garden! This FREE event is a part of International Sailor Moon Day, where many places around the world celebrate Sailor Moon! Sailor Moon is a Japanese shojo manga series written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi. Activities include: • Sailor Moon games! • Food! This will be a potluck, so bring your favorite foods! • Contests! Love cosplay? How about fashion? • Photo scavenger hunt to get some awesome photos and poses in! • Raffle off prizes to help our fellow Lunas and Artemises in the world, local cat rescue Crazy Cat Lady Animal Rescue! Whether you want to not dress up normally, dress in your favorite sailor scout's colors, do a magical-themed cosplay, or go in full Sailor Moon cosplay, everyone is welcome!
