The 30th Annual Town of Blacksburg July 4th Parade will be held on Monday, July 4, 2016 starting at 2 pm starting at the old Blacksburg Middle School and travelling along Main Street ending near the Alumni Mall. This year's parade theme is "Fourth of July Remembered". Watch the parade and enjoy floats, bicycles, wagons, marchers, walkers, antique cars, race cars, horses, fire engines, scouts, bands, sports teams and more! For entry information to participate in the parade, email Gavin Faulkner at gavin@rowanmountain.com. There is no charge to have an entry in the parade. Immediately following the parade enjoy the free movie "The Black Stallion" at The Lyric Theatre. To end the night's festivities enjoy the Town of Blacksburg's 4th of July Celebration at the Municipal Park starting at 6 pm with live music, vendors and fireworks around 9:30 pm. The parade is sponsored by the Mount Tabor Ruritan Club.
