The Pearisburg Community Market presents their Music At The Market Concert Series featuring Chickenwings and Gravy and the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the River Sculpture Walking Trail on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Pearisburg Community Center. Paired with Blues food dinner menu, wine by the glass or bottle, shopping with the Community Market vendors, live Chicago Blues performance by Chickenwings and Gravy and the official opening of the River Sculpture Walking Trail, you're sure to have a great time! Bill, Rich and Tom are an electric Chicago-style blues and Americana trio. Enjoy originals and classic blues in the styles of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Slim Harpo, and Chickenwings & Gravy. They are among the few ensembles performing the authentic Chicago blues in southwestern Virginia today. With their originals and covers, they are carrying the genre into the 21st Century. Dinner will also be available for purchase from the Farm Table and wine will be available for purchase by the bottle and glass from Beliveau Estate Winery. Tour five river sculptures created by artists Robert Tuckwiller, Tacie Jones, Julie Ferrari, Corbin Vierling, Tim Vierling and Nikki Pynn with members of ReNew the New, Giles Arts Council, Giles County Chamber of Commerce, and the Town of Pearisburg.
