YMCA at Virginia Tech presents a Two Day Birdwatching for Beginners Class starting on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Jump into the basics of bird watching in this two-part class by learning bird biology and behavior, how to use binoculars and field guides, and how to identify birds by sight and sound. We will start in the classroom and then put our new knowledge to work with a leisurely bird watching walk. Binoculars not provided. This class will meet August 25 and August 27, 2016 from 8:30-11:00 AM. For those 18+ years old.
