The YMCA at Virginia Tech presents a Plein Air Workshop on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Pandapas Pond. Learn how to capture the landscape in front of you! This afternoon workshop will provide you with the tools needed to tackle the challenges of creating outdoors. Students of all skill levels are invited to come and work in their preferred medium and sketch or paint the beautiful views around Pandapas Pond. Students will learn how to choose a dynamic view, create a thoughtful composition, interpret value and colors, and most importantly tell a story with their artwork. Beginners are advised to work in pencil or charcoal, while more experienced students may choose to work in other mediums. For those 13+ years old.
