The Oak Grove Pavilion continues their 22nd Annual and 2016 Summer Music Series featuring Awesomesauce on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Awesomesauce is a collaboration of local music talent located in Blacksburg, VA. Featuring songs from Bonnie Raitt, Doobie Brothers, Heart, Etta James, Eagles, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, The Guess Who, CCR, Adele, Pink Floyd and MUCH more! One of our highest paid compliments is the fact that our music selection is vast and enjoyable. We hope you think so too! All donations are collected throughout the summer and then distributed to six non-profit organizations that serve Floyd County (Women's Resource Center, NRV Cares, Reading is Fun in Floyd, Floyd Emergency Assistance Program, Community Cares and Plenty! Food Bank). The Oak Grove Pavilion is all about the Community! There will be a $1 Cake Walk at intermission and a canteen is available. Bring your lawn chairs or use chairs under the pavilion or our many picnic tables. Shows go on rain or shine. Since 1994 the Oak Grove Pavilion has been a summer entertainment venue which has hosted a wide variety of family friendly music and drama events. The "season" begins in early June and ends in late August and run most Saturday nights starting at 7 pm. The Oak Grove Pavilion is located behind the historic Zion Lutheran Church in a stand of old oaks located at 635 Needmore Lane in Floyd, VA.
