Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. presents the June 2016 First Friday Art Walk on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5-8 pm. Galleries around downtown Blacksburg will be open from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm featuring a variety of local and regional artists. Art Walk also includes a Scavenger Hunt and several prizes. Galleries include: • Art Pannonia • Community Arts Information Office • Eucalyptus Massage Therapy • Honeysuckle Studios • Main Street Inn • Matrix Gallery • Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea • Moss Arts Center Art Walk artists represent a variety of styles, mediums, and themes. Moss Arts Center will feature five exhibits including Sowing Seeds by P. Buckley Moss and HighWire. Pottery is in the spotlight at Matrix Gallery with Ron Sutterer’s artist reception. Honeysuckle Studios’ owner Caroline Mullins will feature the work of her grandmother and inspiration for her business, Frances Sward. Honeysuckle Studios will also offer free style and self-guided canvas painting.
