Description: New River Land Trust presents their Third Annual Farmfest on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Glade Road Growing.

We'll have live music featuring Ben Gilmer, a farm tour, and kid's activities, plus brick oven pizza, tamales, Homestead Creamery Ice Cream, beer from Rising Silo Brewery and local wines available to purchase.

Ben Gilmer is a musician from Lebanon, VA performing Americana, country, roots, rock, bluegrass and more. He cut his musical teeth by playing country music with his grandfather and at weekly bluegrass jam sessions at the local barbershop in his hometown of Lebanon.

Gilmer’s lyrics poetically wander through love, loss, and self-exploration yet leave plenty of room for playful overtones. Some might say that his vocal sound recalls a youthful Lyle Lovett.
