The Third Annual Appalachian Laser Tag Festival, hosted by the Laser Club at Virginia Tech (LCaT), will be held from Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 12 pm to Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 11:30 am at Caldwell Fields. This family friendly event provides fun for all and is free! Come for a morning, afternoon, evening, or the entire event. No equipment is necessary, the LCaT will be providing equipment. If you have the same equipment or a modified version of the equipment, please feel free to bring it. Playing is free though AA battery donations are always appreciated. All ages are welcome, but event organizers will not assume responsibility for youth under 18 years of age. As such, a parent or designated guardian/group leader should be present. Caldwell Fields is located on Craig Creek Road in Montgomery County, VA in the Jefferson National Forest. Directions: From Blacksburg (junction of North Main Street and US 460), follow US 460 west for 2.8 miles. Turn right on Craig Creek Road (SR 621), go 8.8 miles. Road turns to gravel after 4 miles.
