Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the 13th Annual Progeny Film Festival on Saturday, May 7th at The Lyric. The Progeny Film Festival returns for its 13th year of showcasing the talents of local and regional filmmakers. The Progeny Film Festival is an annual event hosted by Virginia Tech's School of Performing Arts. Progeny's mission is to foster and showcase short, thoughtful, independent-minded, DIY-spirited, artful films by filmmakers from Southwest Virginia and the surrounding areas.
