The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation presents the Third Annual Newtown Festival: Blues, Brews and BBQ on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall from 2 pm to 8 pm. Bands and performers will play traditional Blues music, recalling the days when crowds would gather at the St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall in New Town. A second stage will be set up at the North End Center. Nothing is better than an afternoon of Blues, Brews, and BBQ in a charming historic setting! Music Line-Up: St Luke Stage: • 2:00-3:00 PM - Neal Wyms • 3:30-4:30 PM - Sassified • 5:00-6:00 PM - The Blue Monday Band • 6:30-7:30 PM - Bill Hoffman Quintet North End Stage: • 2:30-3:30 PM - Howlin' Mudbellies • 4:00-5:00 PM - Smokestack Lightning • 5:30-6:30 PM - Tim Pak • 7:00-8:00 PM - Emily Guill & Friends Adult beverages including beer and wine will be available for purchase. Admission is free although donations are greatly appreciated. A donation of $5.00 is suggested. No outside food, drink, or pets allowed. Seating is limited, so you may wish to bring chairs while you and your family sit under tents.
