Crimper's Climbing Gym in Christiansburg, VA is holding its Third Annual Allez Climbing Competition, Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 10 am. to 6 pm. Allez is a red-point style roped climbing competition with both top-rope and lead climbing routes and will be sanctioned by USA Climbing, the national governing body for competitive climbing in the United States. All climbing levels for ages 8 and above will be represented. In the red-point style, those who compete can try to climb a route as many times as they want in the course of three hours until they successfully send it. Each competitors’ four highest point climbs will be added together for the final score. Allez is about people sharing a love of climbing and having a vibrant, happy experience.
