Many amazing animals are facing extinction, but can you imagine a world without snow leopards, red pandas or otters? Campers will learn about Mill Mountain Zoo’s Vulnerable and Endangered animals, as well as other animals facing similar situations all over the world. Learn why these animals are in trouble and what you can do at home to help.

The Animals on the Edge Camp is for ages 6-8.

Mill Mountain Zoo’s popular summer camps are a terrific way to introduce your child to the animal kingdom or to foster an existing interest in the feathered, furry and scaly critters we share the planet with. Each camp is designed to encourage a child’s respect and enthusiasm for the natural world through hands-on, fun and educational activities. Every week is chocked full of great experiences, including up-close animal encounters, talks with zookeepers, games, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, scientific explorations and oh, and so much more!
