Pearisburg's Second Annual Small Town Christmas presents the Pearisburg Small Town Christmas Stroll on Friday, December 4, 2015. Schedule: • 5:00 pm - Lighting of Christmas Tree on the Courthouse lawn. • 5:00-6:30 pm - Children's activities at the Pearisburg Public Library. • 5:00-8:00 pm - Christmas Stroll in downtown Pearisburg featuring decorations and festival of trees. Over 16 businesses will participate in this year’s Stroll with a theme of “Small Town Christmas.” Shopkeepers will entertain residents and visitors with holiday decorations, refreshments, special offers, and a variety of holiday activities. Activities will include the lighting of the town star and Christmas tree and downtown light poles. Storefronts will be decorated throughout the town. The public library will host children's activities. Additionally, holiday specials and coupons will be offered during this evening to encourage local shopping and dining.
