The Pearisburg Community Market presents their Chicken BBQ Dinner on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Pearisburg Community Center. Join us for the Pearisburg Community Market Chicken BBQ Dinner from 4-8 pm. Enjoy the tastiest Chicken, Homemade Sides and more. This is also the kickoff for the Pearisburg Scarecrow Festival. Menu includes: a quarter chicken, 2 homemade sides (macaroni & cheese, baked beans, coleslaw or applesauce) and a beverage. A vegetarian option will also be offered that will include your choice of three sides. Enjoy your chicken dinner with live music by the band Dean Reed & the Feed & Seed Boys. The concert is free to the public. The cost for the dinner is $10 per person for either eat-in or take out. Advance ticket purchase is suggested and available. Purchase your tickets at the Pearisburg Community Market or Pearisburg Town Office. Beliveau Estate Winery will sell wine by the glass or bottle at the wine garden. Shop with Local Producers and Artisan Vendors from 4-8 pm. In addition, participate in the Self-Guided Walking Sculpture Tour featuring Pearisburg Art in Public Places. The art exhibit is composed of sculptures and murals by local artists including works by Nikki Pynn, Robert Tuckwiller, Corbin Vierling, Tim Vierling, Julie Ferrari, Tacie Jones and students of LoCo Arts. Maps will be available to identify the location of each sculpture. The dinner is rain or shine. Proceeds to help sustain the Pearisburg Community Market. The Pearisburg Community Market is located on the front lawn of the Community Center which is located at 1410 Wenonah Avenue in Pearisburg, VA.
