Description: The Pearisburg Farm to Fork program presents Session 1: Regional Food and White Wine Pairing on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Pearisburg Community Center. This is part one of a three part series.

If it grows together, it goes together is just one of the rules participants will learn when they take this unique three session regional wine and food pairing class. Charles Lytton and guest speakers will provide a profile of three hand-selected regional artisan wines per evening.

Participants will taste three white wines and a small plate matched with each wine provided by the FarmTable.

Review the principles of balancing taste components of each wine with food; how soil, climate, altitude and the age of the vine affect the flavor of the wine and winemaking techniques.

Each session is $30 per person or participants can register for all three sessions for $80.
