The Science Museum of Western Virgnia presents the STEM Tavern with Virginia Tech Biochemistry Professor Dr. Zhijian at Soaring Ridge Brewery on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. Our September STEM Tavern features Dr. Zhijian Jake Tu who is a Professor of Biochemistry at Virginia Tech. Dr. Adelman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Entomology at Virginia Tech. Brantley Hall is a graduate student in the Genetics, Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Ph.D Program at Virginia Tech. What makes a talk about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) even more entertaining? Why, beer of course! Join our monthly STEM Tavern that features a fascinating science presentation plus good beer. Admission is free and for each beer sold, Soaring Ridge will make a donation to the Science Museum of Western Virginia. A food truck will also be on hand.
