The Pearisburg Community Market presents More Herbs, Less Salt Day! on Saturday, August 29, 2015 on the front lawn of the Pearisburg Community Center. Its National More Herbs, Less Salt Day and we’re celebrating at the market! Cooking with Herbs and Less Salt Chef Demo from 4-6 pm featuring Carilion Clinic. There will also be free Kids activities including how to use herbs at the Children’s Booth. Additionally the Giles County Chamber of Commerce Flea Market will be at the market from 9-2 pm. Meet local producers, artisans and more. Food can be purchased from a menu at the Farm Table. The Pearisburg Community Market is located on the front lawn of the Community Center which is located at 1410 Wenonah Avenue in Pearisburg, VA.
