The first annual Khan-Con will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at VFW Post 1115 in Hillsville, VA. Khan-Con is Hillsville, Virginia's First Sci-Fi, Zombie, Anime, and Superhero Convention. This is a comic convention for all ages. It has been organized to raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and to raise funds for research. Local artists, vendors and performers will be featured. Featured Guests include: • 501st Legion: Vader's Fist • Sgt. Sasquatch creator, writer & artist Glen Richardson • Enforcer creator and writer Brian Funk • Mandalorian Mercs Star Wars Costuming Club • Sculptor, model maker, special effects makeup designer Chad Tate • Night Watch Haunt will be perform make-up and SFX magic and host a Cosplay Contest VFW Post 1115 is located at 701 West Stuart Drive in Hillsville, VA.
