The Village of Newport will host its annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 4th through Newport in Giles County, VA. Those wishing to participate in the parade can meet before 11 am at the First Christian Church located on Route 42. Those wishing to view can find a spot along Route 42 going through the community or near the Newport Community Park. Following the parade there will be concessions and fun at the park with music from Old Man Kelly. All events are free and open to the public. The Village of Newport Community Park is conveniently located 1.3 miles down Highway 42 / Bluegrass Trail keep your eyes peeled for the signs off of 460 West.
