Description: The Radford Parks and Recreation Department presents their annual Free Concert Series featuring the band Fritz Schindler on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Bisset Park.

Fritz Schindler is a whirlwind of musical enthusiasm. His energetic live shows combine traditional acoustic instruments — mandolin, guitar, piano, hammered dulcimer, and his voice — with live looping techniques and his talented band, leaving audiences both smiling and wonderstruck.

Fritz grew up in Berea, KY, the epicenter of Appalachian folk heritage, and for more than ten years he and his family have been delighted to call Radford their home. Fritz first, short album (EP), Sunlight Breaking Through the Trees, released in December 2013
and is filled with messages of Hope. No matter your age or musical preference, the joyful, singing, multi-instrumentalist Fritz Schindler will have your toes tapping, hands clapping, and before you know it, you just might find yourself singing along.

Concerts will be at the Gazebo at Bisset Park and will begin at 7:00 pm and will end at 8:00 pm every Tuesday evening from June 30 - August 4, 2015.

Make sure to bring a blanket and/or lawn chair and enjoy a beautiful evening of great entertainment.
