Chateau Morrisette presents their Black Dog Music and BBQ Festival on Saturday, August 8, 2015. Musical performances by alternative rock groups The Alternate Routes and Kopecky as well as a Kansas City Barbecue Society competition fills the day with music and barbecue! Along with the competition and music, the festival features wine tastings, food vendors to satisfy your barbecue cravings, delicious beers, and artisan shopping. Tickets include entry, music, a souvenir glass, and all day wine tastings. To purchase tickets online, visit: http://thedogs.com/wine/ticketed-events.html At the festival, tickets will be sold for People's Choice, an award given to participating competitor receiving the most votes by the people! By purchasing a People's Choice ticket, you can sample barbecue and vote for your favorite! Tickets for People's Choice are only available inside of the festival and will cost $5. All proceeds from the People's Choice go to the local Boy Scout Troop 36. Event will be held rain or shine. Dogs on a leash are welcome. No outside food or coolers allowed.
