The 22nd Annual Coal Miners Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 30th at McCoy Community Park. Enjoy a celebration of the rich coal-mining heritage of Montgomery County. Live music from Bluegrass, Country, & Gospel bands provided by High Grass, Heaven Bound, Half Throttle, Scott Patrick & Friends, and Raw Talent. Other activities include Mining Exhibits, Antique/Classic Cars Cruise-In, Crafts, a Silent Auction and food for purchase. Music Schedule: • 10:00 am: High Grass • 10:50 am: Heaven Bound • 11:40 am: Half Throttle • 12:30 pm: Scott Patrick & Friends • 1:20 pm: Raw Talent At 2 pm there will be a memorial ceremony honoring former coal miners.
