The Summer Arts Festival presents their Friday Night Out Concert featuring Scott Pery & Front Porch Swing on Friday, June 26, 2015 on the Henderson Lawn. As a solo artist, with various duos and with his bandmates in Front Porch Swing, Scott recreates and celebrates American music including blues, jazz, honky tonk and vintage rock & roll. He also performs original songs that capture the "old school" sound of the recognized masters of those genres. With the joint efforts of Virginia Tech's School of Performing Arts and the Town of Blacksburg, the 2015 Summer Arts Festival's features live music, art exhibits, live theatre events, classic movies and summer festivals in downtown Blacksburg. This summer marks the 24th year of this cultural and entertaining festival for the Virginia Tech Campus and the New River Valley. Admission to all events is free.
