The First Annual Pet Jam will be held on Saturday, April 25th at the Holiday Inn Banquet Room in Christiansburg, VA. Enjoy a fun night of acoustic music, pizza and giveaways. The Acoustic Kind have graciously donated their time and will be performing along with Awesomesauce. Kems Restaurant inside the Holiday Inn will have "Pizza for Pups", pizza by the slice, cheese, pepperoni and supreme for $2 as well as large pizza takeout specials at $9. A portion of pizza sales will go to Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care & Control, Inc (MCFACC). Tickets will be sold at the door, they are $20 and include one slice of cheese pizza and ALL ticket sales go to MCFACC . There will be a cash bar. Note: This is a 21 and older event. The goal of the event is to raise funds to support adoption events to help find forever homes for our community of abandoned pets. These funds will be used to support everything from adoption event fees, rabies vaccines, vet care and current shelter clean-up while plans for the new animal shelter are being finalized.
