Steph Stewart & The Boyfriends from Carrboro, NC return to The Floyd Country Store during their new album release tour.

Steph Stewart is haunting, post-Appalachain lull married to sweet and smoky honky-tonk. Her ethereal twang feeds an audience, easing into the gut like honey, accented by hoppy mandolin picking and bright fiddle melodies. Together, Steph and her boyfriends deliver a haunting sound both unique and satisfyingly familiar, fusing old Appalachia and top-shelf Americana.

Jim Crandall is a singer-songwriter from Whitefish Montana who moved to Bluefield WV in July 2013. Jim writes and plays what he describes as “American Folkage”, a simple look into the Good ol Days. Folk songs of the Great Depression, Mom and Dad , Grandpa and the old farm. Jim has played in duos and folk groups from Maryland to Montana. And now West Virginia has taken him on a solo path with time to write about the lives of the long ago.
