The Blacksburg Sports Club presents their annual Awards Luncheon at Custom Catering Center on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. The Awards Luncheon will be hosted by David Kuchinsky and emceed by Virginia Tech Radio Network Analyst, Hokie Hall of Famer and former Virginia Tech football player Mike Burnop. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend the luncheons. Lunch is $9 per person and includes a drink. The lunch service begins at 11:30 am. The complete program, with lunch, runs from noon until 1:00 PM; therefore, one may enjoy the entire program during lunch hour. The program features speakers from the Virginia Tech and Blacksburg High School Athletic Departments, with an occasional "outside" speaker, inform and entertain our membership. The Blacksburg Sports Club is the New River Valley's home for supporting local varsity athletic programs primarily those of Blacksburg High School and Virginia Tech. We provide a setting for fellowship and education around a sports theme. We participate in and sponsor various fund-raising events to generate additional support for the athletic programs at Blacksburg High School and Virginia Tech.
