Robert Tuckwiller (pronounced Tuck-will-er) grew up on a farm near Lewisburg, in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The next to the youngest of five children, he developed his interest in art at an early age. He received his B.S. degree from Concord University in Athens, West Virginia.

During his 35-year career as a professional artist, Tuckwiller has painted and sold several thousand original paintings and prints. Acclaimed as a realist, much of his work depicts the quiet beauty of pastoral country settings and the natural environment. While Robert enjoys hiking, biking, and canoeing to find his subjects, many come from leisurely drives throughout the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia.

He has released 95 signed and numbered limited edition prints, 51 of which are sold out now and only available on the secondary market. In 2013, Tuckwiller was named Best Mountain Artist by Blue Ridge Country magazine which polls it's 325,000 readers every five years for their favorite people, places and activities.
