The Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a Virginia Firearms Safety Training Course on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. This personal protection class will provide participants with a Certificate of Completion that satisfies the requirement for the Concealed Carry Permit Application process. This course is taught by David Moye, a Virginia Division of Criminal Justice Certified General instructor and certified firearms instructor. EMS personnel may register for $35 with a valid EMS identification. The registration deadline is Friday, March 27, 2015.
