Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and the Blacksburg Museum & Cultural Foundation present the 3rd annual Horseshoes & Hats: a Kentucky Derby Casino Night at The Alexander Black House in downtown Blacksburg on Saturday, May 2nd. The event will include viewing the Kentucky Derby horse race, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a Cash Bar, a Fancy Hat contest and Casino games: Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, Texas Hold ‘em, and River City Horse Racing along with great prizes! Proceeds from this event will be shared between the Blacksburg Museum & Cultural Foundation and Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. The event will take place in the beautifully restored Alexander Black House Museum on Draper Road in Downtown Blacksburg. Parking available at Kent Square Parking Garage or at metered spaces in the downtown area. Tickets are $40 for an individual and $70 for a couple.
