Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. presents the 8th Annual Summer Solstice Fest on Saturday, June 20th in downtown Blacksburg, VA Summer Solstice features live music, wing eating contest, water wars, beer garden, the Solstice Market, Downtown Sundown 5k® Race at 8:30 pm, sand beach, dog parade, petting zoo and so much more. Enjoy crafts, activities and festival foods! 2015 Music Line-Up: • PanJammers • The Guilty Pleasures • Train Wreck • The Seismix • Badunkafunk • Ripejive • Lazy Man Dub Band A free bike valet service will be provided for those biking to the event from 1-8 pm. The NRV Scuba Club will provide a "Discover Scuba Experience" during Summer Solstice Fest. Bring your bathing suit and you must be 12 or older to participate.
