Riley's welcomes Nice Couch with The Fat Catz the stage on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Nice Couch is a regional touring rock band out of the mountains of Southwest Virginia. Their music has been described everywhere from Psychedelic-Funk to Progressive Rock and everywhere in between. Nice Couch pulls influences from Classic Rock to 90s Alternative while at times even touching on some Thrash-Metal and Punk. Blending these while not getting too far from their pure original sound, while letting the music come as natural as possible, Nice Couch has created some kind of a new sound described as SlayRock.
