The Christiansburg Toastmasters present their bi-monthly meeting on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Blacksburg Church of Christ. Christiansburg Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. We are an informal club, our membership is open to all and we welcome guests at any of our meetings. To accommodate the widest range of schedules, our meetings are from 7:30pm to 9:00pm on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. During meetings, our members present prepared speeches, evaluate those speeches, practice impromptu speeches during Table Topics, receive and provide feedback on their public speaking, and learn new vocabulary. We occasionally have speech contests in place of our regular meeting agenda. The Blacksburg Church of Christ is located at 315 Eakin Street in Blacksburg, VA.
