Open auditions for New River Stage's upcoming play "Curiosity Cat" will be held at the Warm Hearth Village Center in Blacksburg, VA on Monday, January 26th and Tuesday, January 27th from 6-8 pm nightly. Time to mark your calendar for auditions! Curiosity Cat by Chris Grabenstein is New River Stage's first show for 2015. This is a show for all ages! This is a show especially for people who LOVE their pets. Show dates will be late April, early May 2015. 20 roles will be available for all ages 6-106. Interested? Practice being able to adapt the mannerisms of a cat or a dog and in one case a squirrel and that will help with auditions. This is not a musical, although there is one blues song that is a sing-a-long with the audience. Want to read the book? Curiosity Cat is the play within the book "The Hanging Hill."
