Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. presents a special reception for the announcement of the winners of the Holiday Trees and Gingerbread Houses Contests inside the Kent Square Lobby on Saturday, December 20th. Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for the announcement of the winners. Cookies, Candy Canes and Cocoa will be provided. Additionally, the prize drawing will take place for those who voted for their favorite tree and gingerbread house. The Kent Square Lobby is transformed into a Winter Wonderland with decorated trees provided by downtown merchants and non profit groups. Nest Realty NRV will also host their 3rd annual Gingerbread House Contest to benefit Micah's Backpack at this location. Bring the family to enjoy this spectacular new addition to the holidays in Downtown Blacksburg. Voting Directions: • Collect your ballot from Kent Jewelers, First Bank of Virginia or Uncommonly Gifted. • Visit the trees and gingerbread houses in Kent Square and choose your favorite. • Return your completed ballot to any of the 3 locations & be entered to win PRIZES. Voting for your favorite tree and gingerbread house takes place from December 5-20, 2014.
