The 12th Annual Frosty 5K and 1-mile Fun Run will be held on Wednesday, December 24th behind the Food Lion grocery store on North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA at the soccer field. The race will take place on bike trails and roads. The start and finish areas are grass. Prizes will be awarded for the overall winner and top age group finishers. Long sleeve shirts will be given to all 5K participants. Fun Runners may purchase a shirt for $10. All Fun Run finishers will receive medals. Additionally, this race always has great door prizes! Schedule of Races: • 10:00 am - Frosty 5K • 10:30 am - 1-Mile Fun Run Five charities will be pre-selected with the participants voting for their favorite choice. The charity with the most votes gets the proceeds from the event. Water will be available at the 2 mile marker, and there will be a variety of refreshments at the finish. Registration is $18 if paid or postmarked by Saturday, December 20th. Registration after is $20.
