The Radford University Anthropology Department kicks off their Worlds of Ancient Mexico Lecture Series with the talk "Conquest and Revolution: The Fall of the Aztec Empire" presented by David S. Anderson on Wednesday, October 22nd in Whitt Hall room 204. "Conquest and Revolution" will be the first of the four-part Worlds of Ancient Mexico Lecture Series by Anderson, an adjunct faculty member in the departments of anthropological sciences and sociology. Anderson, an archaeologist who has worked in Mexico since 1999, recently spent a month in Central Mexico studying the Aztec codices, indigenous books predating the Spanish conquest of Central America, as part of a National Endowment of Humanities grant. All lectures will be in Whitt Hall room 204. They are free and open to the public.
