The Blacksburg Library presents Marshmallow Bridges: A STEAM Program on Thursday, October 23rd. How much weight will your bridge hold? Come on this Early Release Day to compete in our Marshmallow Bridge program. Participants will be supplied with toothpicks and marshmallows and tasked with building a bridge that can span at least a foot. Then we’ll compete to see whose bridge can hold the most weight! Kids will be encouraged to think, plan, and sketch out their bridge designs before they start building, and plenty of reference resources will be on hand. For Ages 6-12.
